Get into the holiday spirit, Beverly Hills-style, by hopping aboard the Art and Architectural Trolley Tour, sponsored by the Beverly Hills Culture and the Arts Program. The tour, which began on Saturdays in September, extends to three days a week beginning this holiday weekend.

Capt. Roosevelt Johnson will be at the trolley’s helm, as a docent points out significant sites on the 1 1/2-hour tour, including City Hall, the historic electric fountain and Creative Artists Agency (by architect I.M. Pei) and ending at the Museum of Television and Radio. The tour departs at 10:30 a.m. Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way. Tickets are $4; children 12 and younger, $2. The tours run through Dec. 28.

The city also sponsors a Culture Connection bus tour on Saturdays only through Dec. 28, also from Rodeo Drive and Dayton Way to the Museum of Contemporary Art, in downtown Los Angeles. This excursion also departs at 10:30 a.m., but returns at 2:30 p.m. The $12 fare includes the round-trip ride and admission to the museum. Tickets for either tour can be purchased from the driver.
