Jaime Ocegueda, coming off an upset victory over Mark Lewis, will face journeyman Russell Mosley tonight for the California super lightweight title in the 10-round main event at the Irvine Marriott’s monthly boxing show.

In September, Ocegueda (15-1-2, seven knockouts) of Norwalk won a 10-round decision over Lewis, who later upset former world champion Gabriel Ruelas. Mosley (9-17-1, three knockouts) of San Diego won the state title last year by beating Marriott favorite Michael Walsh. Since then, Mosley has suffered a first-round knockout at the hands of Hector Quiroz at the Olympic Auditorium.

In the semi-main event, super featherweight Ricardo Fuentes (11-0, seven knockouts) of Azuza faces his toughest test yet in an eight-round bout against Mike Dallas (12-7, nine knockouts) of Bakersfield. The undercard includes super lightweight Adan Casillas (8-0, eight knockouts) of Mexicali, Mexico, against Alvaro Velasquez (5-3, five knockouts) of Anaheim, and Raul Franco (2-0, two knockouts) of Long Beach against Manuel Coronado of Bell.
