At least one boy was in the hospital Saturday after being stabbed during a gang fight the night before in Fillmore, authorities said.

At 11:15 p.m. Friday, Ventura County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a disturbance involving about 25 people in the parking lot of La Posada Motel in the 800 block of Ventura Street. Deputies were told that a gang fight had occurred in the area, according to Sgt. Ralph Zermeno.

Two teenage boys were treated at the scene and transported to Santa Paula Memorial Hospital for treatment of superficial stab wounds, Zermeno said. One was released, and the other was admitted and was in stable condition Saturday with a stab wound, authorities said.

A third teenage boy was taken to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of superficial stab wounds, and was expected to be released, Zermeno said.

The names of the victims were not released because of their ages.

One adult was arrested on suspicion of fighting in public and vandalism, but sheriff’s officials would not release that person’s name.

No one has been arrested in connection with the stabbings.

Deputies said they were hampered in the investigation by uncooperative victims.
