Rosary, Senior; Tennis/Singles
Luzano had plenty of individual success in four seasons on Rosary’s varsity; she won two Golden West League titles in singles and one in doubles. Tuesday, she helped the Royals to their first section team title, winning, 7-6, 6-1, 6-0, in a 10-8 victory over West Hills Chaminade in the Division IV final.
Kelly Garner/Volleyball/Outside Hitter
* Laguna Beach, senior. Had 17 kills and 33 digs in a four-game state playoff victory over Manhattan Beach Mira Costa.
Michelle Stiefel and Natalie Mitten/Tennis/Doubles
* Woodbridge, sophomores. Won their sets, 6-2, 6-1, 6-1, in a 88-74 victory over Westlake Village Westlake in the Division III final.
Allyson Marquand/Cross-Country
* University, sophomore. Finished second in the state Division II race, running 3.1 miles in 17 minutes 53 seconds.
