Clipper update--They’ve lost four in a row and 10 of their last 11, including Tuesday night’s 100-95 defeat against Dallas. The Clippers shot a season-high 53.5% against the Mavericks. Center Kevin Duckworth, who had played a total of 23 minutes in his last four games, had six points and three rebounds in 23 minutes against the Mavericks. Loy Vaught had 20 points and eight rebounds in the Clippers’ 93-81 victory last month at San Antonio. Pooh Richardson did not practice Wednesday because of a sore ankle. His status will be determined at game time.

Spur update--Center David Robinson, who sat out the first 18 games because of a back injury, had nine points and nine rebounds in 20 minutes in Tuesday’s 93-76 loss at Phoenix. General Manager Gregg Popovich took over for Coach Bob Hill before the game, but the Spurs lost for the 10th time in 11 games.
