Opponent--Chicago Bulls.

Site--Forum.

Time--7:30.

TV--Fox Sports West, TBS.

Radio--KLAC (570), KWKW (1330).

Records--Lakers 34-13, Bulls 42-5.

Record vs. Bulls--0-1.

Laker update--They are playing for the third time in four nights, but then get six days off for the All-Star break. At least most Lakers do. Shaquille O’Neal, Eddie Jones, Kobe Bryant, Travis Knight, Derek Fisher, assistant coach Larry Drew, and trainer Gary Vitti are all heading to Cleveland for All-Star game-related activities.

Bull update--It’s not getting nearly the attention their bid last season to become the first 70-victory team did, but the Bulls are on pace to surpass the record-setting 72-10 finish. This will be the 11th--and last--game Dennis Rodman misses in his suspension for kicking a cameraman in Minneapolis. Toni Kukoc has been starting in Rodman’s place at power forward.
