Cal State Fullerton Sweeps Arizona
Ten players had extra-base hits as Cal State Fullerton completed a three-game sweep of Arizona with a 20-9 victory Saturday in Tucson. The Titans, ranked 12th in the nation in one poll, scored 12 runs in the last three innings.
Mike Lamb was four for five with a double and three runs scored for the Titans (5-2).
Fullerton’s Ryan Owens had a double, two singles and two runs batted in. Teammate Craig Petterson hit his first home run of the season and had three RBIs.
Jake Thrower was four for four for Arizona (5-5).
