Outlook: Lords is looking forward to the season because in addition to having the county’s top freshman (Barnard) on her team. Plus, she is not losing any of her swimmers who reached the Southern Section finals last year. In fact, Lords says the Hawks have a good chance to win a second consecutive section final. “We’ve got some really good freshmen, so we have depth and speed,” Lords said. Barnard has an Olympic trial time in the 400-meter individual medley and a senior national time in the 200 IM. Other notables include Wieland, Rodriguez, Class, Fitzgerald and Shubin.
