‘What Women Want’

Share

What do women really want out of life?

“How about world peace, equal pay and comfortable shoes,” suggested Kristin Tranquada, director of communications for Whittier College, where Patricia Ireland, president of the National Organization for Women, will be posing that question tonight.

Ireland will be reading from and discussing her new book, “What Women Want,” and advising women to figure out what they want and how to go after it.

She will also discuss how feminism and activism will move into the next century and talk about the Young Feminist Summit, to be held next month in Washington, D.C.
