ARCADIA INVITATIONAL TRACK AND FIELD MEET

* At Arcadia High, Saturday.

* Field events 4 p.m., running events 6 p.m.

* Tickets $10 adults, $5 children.

* One of the top outdoor meets in the nation will once again include a talented lineup. The featured events will be the relays. The girls’ 400- and 1,600-meter relays will be battles between teams from Long Beach Wilson, Playa del Rey St. Bernard, Long Beach Poly, Union City James Logan and Philadelphia William Penn. For the boys, Obea Moore of Pasadena Muir will run on the school’s record-setting 400- and 1,600-meter relays and also will run the 800. The Mustangs will be challenged in the 1,600 relay by Long Beach Poly and Bakersfield Ridgeview. Another top event is the girls’ 200, featuring Angela Williams of Chino and Kinshasa Davis of Long Beach Wilson.
