Erica Healy won a gold medal in the women’s three-meter springboard and teammate Kristin Littell took the silver medal as the Mission Viejo Nadadores took the lead in the Western National Diving Championships Saturday in Lincoln, Neb.
Louie Gagne of the Irvine L’Equipe Divers won the gold in the men’s one-meter springboard and the Nadadores’ Michael Hilde came away with the silver.
The Nadadores’ Raymond Vincent won the silver medal in the men’s three-meter springboard.
Michelle Brown of the Crown Valley Team won a silver medal in the women’s 1 meter springboard event.
The championships conclude today.
Golf
La Habra’s Hector Garcia holds a three-stroke lead over Lake Forest’s Carlos Cabral after Saturday’s round of the Anaheim City Golf Tournament at Dad Miller and Anaheim Hills. Garcia, who won the tournament in 1979, led all-scratch golfers with a 67.
Cabral shot a 70 and Donny Lee of Covina shot a 72.
Sue Sims leads the ladies ‘A’ flight with a net score of 69.
