Cappuccilli had three home runs and nine RBIs in two games against second-ranked Esperanza last week. He hit a grand slam in an 11-5 loss Wednesday and hit a game-winning, two-run shot in the bottom of the eighth in an 8-7 victory Saturday. Cappuccilli boosted his school-record home-run total to nine and has 28 RBIs.

* Santa Margarita, senior. Won the 100 butterfly (49.86 seconds) and 100 backstroke (51.10) in meet-record times and swam the lead leg of the winning 200 freestyle relay team at the Foothill Games.

* Tustin, senior. Helped Tustin take the Orange County Championships title by winning the high jump, clearing 6 feet 10 inches.
