Hospital Employees Open Food Drive
Employees at Columbia Los Robles Hospital have launched a food drive for the Fourth of July.
Hospital employees will collect food and personal items for the next two weeks. Social services agencies, such as Lutheran Social Services and Interface, are helping to identify needy families in the Conejo Valley who will receive the goods.
“We hear about people helping people during the holiday season, but never anything about helping at other times of the year,” said hospital receptionist Patricia Hutchinson, who is heading the drive.
To aid the employees’ efforts, contributors can call Hutchinson at 379-5480.
