Trojans Need All Hands on Deck
With questions arising about whether senior receiver Larry Parker might have to redshirt because of a foot injury, sophomore R. Jay Soward said the stable of young receivers will have to be ready.
“That’s kind of scary, if Larry’s gone,” Soward said. “That’s a little more pressure on me and a lot more young guys.”
Parker will undergo tests to determine whether his nagging injuries are related to a foot problem that might need to be corrected.

Tailback Delon Washington, who had been slowed by a sore Achilles’ tendon, had his first full practice in about a week. . . . With Junior Rickman, a senior, not practicing because of a leg injury, freshmen Antoine Harris and Lonnie Ford have overtaken him for the starting tight end position.
