TONIGHT’S GAME

GREEN BAY (9-3) at MINNESOTA (8-4)

* Kickoff: 6 p.m.

* TV: Channel 7.

* Storyline: The Vikings’ last gasp. If they lose this one, they go to San Francisco next week a ripe victim to be beaten again. Minnesota, which is concerned about quarterback Brad Johnson’s ankle, has beaten the Packers five consecutive times at home. But Green Bay appears to be picking up steam, and if successful in shutting down Minnesota, can probably wrap up the NFC Central championship next week in Tampa Bay. Minnesota and Green Bay are one-two in the NFC in offense, but the Vikings rank last in the conference in defense--better than only the awful Oakland Raiders in the NFL.

* The line: Packers by 3.

* The pick: Packers.
