* Storyline: The Packers vow they won’t roll over and play dead as the Bills were famous for doing when they had playoff spots clinched in past years. Don’t look for the Bills to put up much resistance. Brett Favre and Brad Van Pelt are at opposite ends of the quarterback spectrum.

St. Louis at Carolina

* TV: Channel 11.

* Records: Rams 4-11, Panthers 7-8.

* Storyline: Both teams are coming off real downers, the Rams losing to the Bears in St. Louis and the Panthers being blown out of the playoff picture by the Packers. The Rams are incredibly out of sync offensively, and Tony Banks is back to having fumbling problems. The Panthers also are sputtering on offense, as the timing just isn’t there between Kerry Collins and his receivers.
