Capistrano Valley Wins Torrance Title

Justin Roach scored in the 15th minute to give Capistrano Valley a 1-0 victory over Santa Ana Valley in the championship game of the South Holiday boys’ soccer tournament Wednesday at South Torrance High School.
Defender Bill Hierl was named the tournament’s most valuable player for Capistrano Valley (9-1-1).
