‘Beyond Barbed Wire’ to Premiere in Little Tokyo

“Beyond Barbed Wire,” a new documentary about Japanese Americans who fought in World War II, will premiere Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Japan America Theatre, 244 S. San Pedro St., Little Tokyo.
Tickets are $50 and the proceeds will benefit the 100th/442nd/MIS World War II Memorial Foundation’s “Go for Broke” monument. Noriyuki “Pat” Morita, who narrates the film, will attend.
