SPLASH TONIGHT
Opponent--Seattle SeaDogs
Site--Pond of Anaheim
Time--6
Records--Splash 4-3, SeaDogs 7-2.
Splash update--The defense is playing well and has given up only 10 goals in the past 13 quarters. The Splash has won three of its last four, and the loss--at Seattle, 4-2--was a stellar defensive effort. The offense has not been nearly as efficient; it followed the two-goal game with a 5-3 victory over Dallas, but had scored only three goals before two empty-net goals in the final minutes. Bernie Lilavois has 11 goals, Dale Ervine has five goals, and Armando Valdivia, Doug Neely and Danny Barber have four each.
SeaDogs update--The SeaDogs are the talk of the league and try to beat the Splash for the third time this season. They scored a 9-6 victory in the Splash’s most lackluster effort of the season. All-star Jean Harbor and John Olo Molomo combined for seven goals and three assists in that 9-6 win. Molomo sat out the 4-2 victory, and Harbor was held to an assist. The SeaDogs are coming off a 5-4 loss Thursday to Washington.
