TONIGHT’S GAMES
NONCONFERENCE
* LOYOLA MARYMOUNT at NEVADA LAS VEGAS
Time--7:30. TV--Fox Sports West 2. Radio--KXLU-FM (88.9).
The Charles Bradley Era at Loyola Marymount officially begins tonight against Nevada Las Vegas in the opener for both at Thomas & Mack Center. The Lions are 0-2 in exhibitions this season after finishing 7-21 and last in the West Coast Conference last season. UNLV has five returning players and three redshirts from a team that was 22-10. “The good thing about those [exhibition] games is that it showed us where we stand and some things we need to work on,” Bradley said. “Right now, the main focus is on teaching and learning.” Senior forwards Kenny Hotopp and Ben Ammerman are expected to be the leaders for the Lions. The Runnin’ Rebels, who won their two exhibitions, are led by Tyrone Nesby, who averaged 16 points and seven rebounds last season. He is complemented well by power forward Keon Clark, who averaged 14 points and 10 rebounds.
