Free Feasts

Restaurants, organizations and scores of volunteers will be putting on free Thanksgiving Day meals with all the trimmings for the homeless and needy families. Here are some of the lunches and dinners planned Thursday throughout Orange County:

ANAHEIM

* La Casa Garcia Restaurant, 531 W. Chapman Ave.

Tenth annual dinner, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Plans to serve 12,000 to 15,000 people. Donations, including turkeys, food items and financial contributions, are welcome. Information: Frank Garcia, (714) 740-1108.

* Jeffrey-Lynne neighborhood, off Walnut Street

Community dinner, 2-4 p.m. Volunteers needed from noon to 5 p.m. Sponsors include La Casa Garcia, United Neighborhoods and League of United Latin American Citizens. Information: Josie Montoya, (714) 774-0107.

COSTA MESA

* Someone Cares Soup Kitchen, 720 W. 19th St.

Dinner, 1-4 p.m. Presented by Michael Kang, Five Feet restaurant, Laguna Beach, assisted by community and restaurant donations. Information: (714) 548-8861.

FULLERTON

* Home Front Church, 808 W. Commonwealth Ave.

Meals at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. More than 600 homeless expected. Cooked turkeys, hams and other foods will be accepted Thursday. Donations of diapers, toiletries, emergency supplies, blankets, jackets, gloves, caps and socks also needed. Information: (714) 680-0401.

GARDEN GROVE

NEWPORT BEACH

Meals served 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Donations of canned food items and 8-to 12-pound frozen turkeys needed. Information: (714) 258-4450.

Lunch of Vietnamese food, 1 p.m.; 100 sleeping bags will be given to homeless people. Sponsored by Ngay Mai Magazine. Information: (714) 971-3255.

* Southwest Community Center, 1601 W. 2nd St.

Meal served 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Food, clothing, toys and personal hygiene items will be distributed. Information: (714) 547-4073.

* The Salvation Army Youth Center, 1710 W. Edinger Ave.

Dinner, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. From 500 to 600 meals will be served on first-come-first-served basis. Information: (714) 979-3482.

TUSTIN

* Main Place Christian Fellowship, 13841 Red Hill Ave.
