Holiday Concert Series Scheduled

Moorpark College will present four performances at its Performing Arts Center next month as part of its Main Stage holiday concert series.

The Moorpark College Concert Choir and the Los Robles Chamber Singers will kick off the series with a concert at 8 p.m. Friday.

The Moorpark College Community Orchestra will perform the second concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 7. The performance will include works by Haydn and Sibelius and holiday pieces such as “March of the Nutcracker” by Tchaikovsky.

James Song returns to the stage at 8 p.m. Dec. 12 to conduct the Moorpark College Wind Ensemble and chamber ensembles.

The Moorpark College Jazz Ensemble will complete the concert series at 8 p.m. Dec. 13.

Tickets cost $10, or $8 for seniors and students. A package of 10 tickets for the Main Stage performances can be purchased for $50.
