Terry, a freshman from El Modena High, is averaging a goal a game after 13 games for Cypress. But to achieve that pace she had to score five goals in two games last week. Terry, a forward, scored three as the Chargers beat Irvine Valley, 10-0, last Tuesday, then added two more in a 10-0 victory over Santa Ana Friday.

* Orange Coast, freshman. She made 13 saves, including two breakaways, as the Pirates beat Grossmont, 8-5.
Paul Thompson

Football/Wide Receiver
Thompson, from Lake Howell High in Florida, has caught eight passes this season but half came in Saddleback’s 28-22 victory over Pasadena Saturday. Three of those catches resulted in touchdowns. He scored on receptions of 36, 44 and 41 yards. His 41-yarder broke a 22-22 tie and capped a 10-play drive.
Wrestling
Adam Gilbert
* Cypress, sophomore. He won four matches in the 190-pound class to take first in the Cerritos tournament.
