Moorpark 23, Oak Park 0--Chad Willis completed 12 of 17 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns and the Musketeers (4-1) handed the Eagles (0-5) their ninth consecutive loss in a nonleague game at Oak Park.
Erris Green gave Moorpark a 6-0 lead when he caught a screen pass from Willis and raced 71 yards for a touchdown late in the first quarter. Green finished with four catches for 123 yards.
Mark Weaver accounted for 11 of Moorpark’s points, kicking a 32-yard field goal in the second quarter, catching a 39-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter and adding two extra points.
Oak Park advanced into Moorpark territory only once, reaching the Musketeer 39-yard line late in the fourth quarter. The Eagles had four first downs and 71 yards.
Oak Park has been shut out three times this season and has been outscored, 127-18. Moorpark posted its second consecutive shutout.
