Valencia 42, Burbank 6--The Vikings’ defense caused four fumbles and built a 35-0 halftime lead at Burroughs High.
Brian Hamilton of Valencia completed 11 of 22 passes for 137 yards and four touchdowns. Mike Swanson caught touchdown passes of 21 and 22 yards. Swanson had six receptions for 65 yards.
Valencia running back Manuel White rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns in 19 carries. White also caught a 14-yard touchdown pass from Hamilton in the first quarter.
