Anaheim (0-6, 0-1) scored on a 20-yard pass from Jimmy Gorman to Tru Nguyen with 28 seconds left in the first quarter to cut the lead to 14-6. It was as close as the Colonists would get.

Keoho scored again on a one-yard run in the second quarter to give Western a 20-6 lead.

Western then took a 28-6 lead with 6:57 left in the third quarter on Luis Canchola’s 19-yard run. Canchola rushed for 63 yards in seven carries.

Jackson then scored Western’s final two touchdowns on two- and one-yard runs.

The Colonists got a final score on a 15-yard pass from Robert Ramirez to Nguyen with 6:56 left in the game.
