The Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins will have to wait until after Game 6 of the World Series on Saturday night to know whether they will play Sunday afternoon or Monday night.

If a seventh game of the World Series between the Cleveland Indians and Florida Marlins is necessary, it will be played in Miami on Sunday night and the Chicago-Miami game would be shifted to Monday night.

If the football game is played Monday night, it will be televised by ABC and shown only in the Chicago and Miami markets.

Jurors in St. Louis’ $130-million lawsuit against the NFL may finally get to hear from Commissioner Paul Tagliabue, the man the city considers to be the chief villain in the case.

Tagliabue’s taped deposition is expected to be played today in the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission’s antitrust lawsuit.

The outcome of the trial may hinge on what the commissioner has to say about the failed St. Louis expansion effort and his role in the Rams’ move.

CVC lead counsel Alan Popkin has tried to lead jurors to believe that it was Tagliabue who denied St. Louis one of two expansion franchises in 1993 and it was also the commissioner who drove up the city’s cost to attract the former Los Angeles team.
