LAKE ISABELLA —
A magnitude-3.4 earthquake rattled Kern County Sunday afternoon but apparently caused no injuries or damage, authorities said.
The quake occurred at 5:36 p.m. 13 miles south-southeast of Lake Isabella, said seismologist Steve Bryant of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.
It was not an aftershock of a previous quake, Bryant said.
A deputy at the Kern County Sheriff’s Department said there were no reports of injuries or damage.
