Green Bay Packer to Grace Campbell Cans
Campbell Soup Co. said it will put a picture of Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Reggie White on the label of its Chunky soups. The 11-time All-Pro and the National Football League’s all-time sack leader will be the second person to grace the cans of the world’s largest soup company. The first was hockey’s Wayne Gretzky. The new label will be on 50 million cans of soup. Campbell will also feature White in a national advertising campaign. In addition, the company will donate 20,000 cans of soup to U.S. food banks when White tackles an opposing player and 50,000 cans each time he sacks an opposing quarterback.
