Free Oil Offered as Recycling Incentive
Residents who participate in the city’s Residential Used Oil Recycling Pilot Program during September will receive a free quart of “re-refined” motor oil.
Used oil will be collected from residents’ homes, then treated to meet performance standards set by the American Petroleum Institute. The recycling program is funded by the California Integrated Waste Management Board.
