Sunny Hills 12, Buena Park 6--Brent Templeton had three RBIs and Jared Lee had two hits and two RBIs for visiting Sunny Hills (9-8, 4-2).
Troy 6, Sonora 4--Todd Frazier scored on a throwing error to give Troy (7-10, 2-4) a 5-4 lead in the top of the seventh inning. Brant Elliott scored the tying run earlier in the inning on a double by Matt Curtis.
In the Empire League:
Kennedy 6, Cypress 3--Jordan Reed’s single in the fourth drove in the game-winner for host Kennedy (10-8, 3-4). Reliever Brian Sutliff pitched five innings and struck out four for Kennedy.
Loara 7, Katella 6 (8)--Loara’s Jacob Kungl hit a two-out single in the bottom of the eighth to score Sean Kehoe with the winning run.
Bryan Brennan’s RBI triple in the seventh inning tied the score at 6-6 for the Saxons (9-8, 4-3).
In the Orange League:
Anaheim 7, Magnolia 3--Uvaldo Sauceda had three hits and an RBI for host Anaheim (8-9, 3-3).
Western 5, Savanna 4--Miguel Rodriguez’s two-out RBI single in the bottom of the seventh scored Matt Stanley to lift host Western (12-4-1, 5-0-1).
In the Chino Tournament:
Mission Viejo 9, Sun Valley Village Christian 0--John Hudgins (3-1) pitched a complete game and struck out 10 for host Mission Viejo (10-6). Hudgins also had three RBIs.
