Bad Back Forces White to Retire
A bad back has done in Reggie White, one of the greatest players in the history of the NFL.
The league’s career sacks leader is retiring because of a bulging disc in his lower back.
“I’m very happy that we did win a Super Bowl while he was here and we came very close to a second one last year,” Green Bay Packer Coach Mike Holmgren said in making the announcement on Sunday. The team said White would hold a news conference Wednesday.
