CS Fullerton Sweeps Aggies
Cal State Fullerton pounded New Mexico State, 18-8, Sunday to sweep the three-game Big West Conference baseball series in Las Cruces.
The Titans hit four home runs. Designated hitter Pete Fukuhara homered in the third inning and had three runs batted in.
Third baseman Ryan Moore hit his seventh home run and had three RBIs. Teammate Ryan Owens hit his ninth homer of the season.
Erasmo Ramirez pitched six innings and struck out seven to earn his sixth victory.
The Titans (32-12 overall, 17-4 in conference) are tied for first in the conference with Long Beach State. The teams begin a three-game series Friday at Long Beach.
