Adult leagues: Men’s and coed softball leagues are forming at El Cariso County Park in Sylmar for players 16 and up.

Cost is $300 per team, plus a $10 umpire fee per game. The 10-week leagues will begin Sept. 29 and 30.

Applications are being taken for the Conejo Recreation and Park District’s fall adult softball league.

Teams may compete in men’s open, men’s church, men’s Sunday, men’s Monday, and men’s masters divisions. There also are women’s open, women’s Sunday, and coed divisions.

League play begins Sept. 16, with games played at Thousand Oaks Community Park, Peppertree Playfield and North Ranch Playfield in Thousand Oaks, and at Borchard Park in Newbury Park.
