MINNESOTA at TENNESSEE

* Kickoff: 9:30 a.m.

* TV: Channel 11

* Records: Vikings 14-1; Oilers 8-7

* Story line: Hoping to continue their roll toward the playoffs, the Vikings can become only the third team to win 15 regular-season games, joining the 1984 San Francisco 49ers and the ’85 Chicago Bears. And they need only 12 points to break the all-time record of 541 set by the ’83 Washington Redskins. Randall Cunningham, who has moved from big-name reserve to MVP candidate in Brad Johnson’s absence, might not play because of a broken bone in his left hand. The Oilers’ slim chances of making the playoffs ended Monday night when the Miami Dolphins defeated the Denver Broncos.

* Line: Vikings by 7

KANSAS CITY at OAKLAND

* Kickoff: 1 p.m.

* TV: Channel 2

* Records: Chiefs 6-9; Raiders 8-7

* Story line: A meaningless game between two of the league’s most disappointing teams figured to be enlivened at least a little by Raider cornerback Charles Woodson playing offense. But after all but promising to make the move, Raider Coach Jon Gruden changed his mind. The Raiders have lost five of their last seven, but the Chiefs are 1-6 on the road. “I’m disappointed,” says Chief Coach Marty Schottenheimer, whose team is assured of finishing below .500 for the first time under his watch. “We’re all disappointed.”

* Line: Raiders by 3
