Although the Grays Harbor Gulls, one of eight teams in the independent Western League, folded last weekend, the team has been revived as the Western Warriors and will play out the Gulls’ schedule with all road games.

The Gulls couldn’t make ends meet primarily because they sold only 369 season tickets at historic Olympic Stadium in Hoquiam, Wash., which was built in 1932 and was one of only three all-wooden stadiums operating in the U.S.

Owners of the seven remaining teams will pay salaries and operating costs for the Warriors, an arrangement more desirable than for every team having a void in its schedule. Pacific has three home games against the Warriors on Aug. 18-20, dates the Suns were to be at Grays Harbor.

Ozuna is batting .250 with two home runs and 16 runs batted in.

Suns catcher Chris Unrat made the Southern Division team as a reserve. Unrat is batting .306 with three home runs and 17 runs batted in.
