Man in Lancaster Bank Heist Sought
A lone gunman robbed a branch of the Antelope Valley Bank on Thursday and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.
The robbery occurred about 3:50 p.m. at the bank’s Lancaster branch in the 800 block of West Lancaster Boulevard, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Fredericks.
The robber was described as tall, thin and white. He appeared to be in his 40s, wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and a blue baseball cap.
No one was injured during the heist, Fredericks said. The FBI is continuing the investigation.
