Pippi Longstocking (HBO, Saturday at 7 a.m.) and her friends debut with “Pippi Returns to Villa Villekula,” in which Pippi goes to Sweden and causes trouble for her new neighbors. The show will air Saturdays and Sundays at 7 a.m. For ages 6 to 11.

Toon Disney, the new channel that celebrates 75 years of Disney animation all day every day, comes to the Disney Channel for one day only with Disney’s Fab Five 4th of July (Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.). The cartoon fare, starring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto, includes “The Three Caballeros,” which celebrates Donald’s birthday and ends with an elaborate fireworks display. For ages 5 and above.
