Chelsea Trotter

Brea Olinda, Sophomore; Basketball/Forward

Trotter, 6 feet 2 1/2 inches, led the Ladycats back to the state final, averaging 25 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in three Southern California playoff victories last week. Trotter had 26 points, 11 rebounds and two blocked shots in a 64-52 victory over Fresno Edison in the Division II regional final Saturday at Pauley Pavilion.

Celina Camarillo/Softball/Pitcher

* Whittier Christian, senior. Struck out 10 and pitched an eight-inning one-hitter to give Whittier Christian a 1-0 victory over St. Margaret’s in Covina Western Christian tournament championship game.

Christy Robitaille/Softball/Pitcher

* Woodbridge, senior. Pitched a one-hitter in the Fullerton tournament title game and a 13-inning one-hitter in a 1-0 win over Marina.

Meryl Stone/Track and Field

* Woodbridge, junior. Won the 100 (12.74 seconds) and 200 meters (26.34) to help the Warriors win the Irvine Invitational.
