North Hollywood showed no ill effects from the 26-mile, 385-yard jog it took only a day earlier, pounding Reseda, 12-2, Monday in a Valley Pac-8 Conference game at North Hollywood.

The Huskies (7-3, 4-0 in conference play), who had 17 varsity and 10 junior varsity players compete in the Los Angeles Marathon along with Coach George Vranau, received a well-deserved rest when the game was called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.

Ismael Rangsiyawong gave North Hollywood a 2-0 lead with a two-run home run in the first inning, and he hit a run-scoring double during an eight-run third inning.
