Heather Hagen

Marina, Senior; Softball/Pitcher

Hagen helped the Vikings to the top of the Sunset League with her clutch play. She beat Edison, 5-0, with a one-hitter to begin the week and she also defeated second-place Fountain Valley, 2-1, driving in the winning run. She also pitched a six-hitter to defeat No. 10 El Modena, 2-1, in the Baron Classic tournament final.

* Villa Park, freshman. Set a school record in the 200 freestyle (1 minute 57.66 seconds) in a victory over Foothill.

Geney Orris/Softball

* Brea Olinda, senior. Hit her 29th career home run in a 24-0 victory over Anaheim to become the Southern Section’s all-time leader.

Christy Ledford/Softball/Pitcher

* Rosary, senior. Won three key league games, allowing one earned run in 18 innings, to help the Royals move into first place in the Golden West League.
