Rob Caston
Santa Ana, Sophomore
Football
Caston, from Tustin High, was one of Santa Ana’s top receivers last season, catching 24 passes for 409 yards in the regular season. This year, he already has doubled his number of catches through nine games. Caston caught nine passes for 140 yards in a 49-14 victory over Golden West. He has caught 48 passes, including five for touchdowns for 728 yards this season.

Danny Johnson
* Golden West, freshman. He had 12 steals as Golden West beat Saddleback, 12-1, in the Southern California championship game.

Santa Ana, Sophomore
Basketball
Anthony, from Brea Olinda High, is a perfect fit as the offensive leader for Santa Ana. At 5 feet 10, she can hold her own inside against taller players but is also quick and a talented shooter from the outside. She had a career-high 40 points and 15 rebounds in an 88-83 victory over San Bernardino Valley in the championship game of the Los Angeles Trade Tech Tournament.
Basketball
Ani Saraydarian
* Orange Coast, sophomore. The guard scored 41 in three games and was selected the MVP of the Chaffey tournament.
