Wondering how your neighborhood will fare in the next earthquake?
The state Department of Conservation, Division of Mines and Geology, has released several seismic hazard zone maps for parts of the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita Valley, including the cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills and Burbank.
Be forewarned: Property owners are required to disclose that a property is located in a seismic hazard zone when conducting a real estate transaction.
The maps may be viewed at https://www.conserv.ca.gov/dmg/ or copies can be obtained by calling BPS Reprographics at (415) 512-6550.
