Alemany 42, Pasadena 14--Alemany, playing at home, amassed 458 yards and scored six touchdowns covering more than 30 yards.

Casey Clausen completed 11 of 23 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns, with one interception. Clausen connected twice with Devin Montgomery on scoring plays of 29 and 87 yards, and threw a 45-yard touchdown to Reggie Kinlaw.

Derek Goodman scored on a 72-yard run on Alemany’s second play from scrimmage. De’Andre Scott added a 35-yard scoring run to give the Indians (8-3) a 21-6 lead late in the first quarter.

Pasadena (4-6-1) drove to the Alemany three-yard line late in the second quarter, but turned the ball over on downs. The Indians responded with an 87-yard scoring pass from Clausen to Montgomery to take a 27-6 lead at halftime.

Alemany will play Lancaster in a quarterfinal Friday night.

Pasadena quarterback Tony Simon rushed for 113 yards in six carries and ran 96 yards for the Bulldogs’ first touchdown. Simon left the game in the second quarter because of an injury and did not return.

Tyrone Burwell rushed for 104 yards in 18 carries for Pasadena, which finished with 305 yards rushing and minus-12 yards passing.
