Boise State 93, Loyola Marymount 86--Roberto Bergersen scored 28 points to lead Boise State to the victory at Loyola.
The Broncos (2-0) used a 13-0 run in the first half to take a lead they never relinquished. The Lions (0-2) trailed by 19 points at halftime.
A three-pointer by Willie Allen got Loyola to 74-69, but Bergersen answered with a three-pointer to put the Broncos ahead, 78-71, with 3 1/2 minutes remaining. Bergersen hit six three-pointers. Gerry Washington made 16 of 18 free throws.
Allen scored 15 points for Loyola, including four three-pointers, and Tim Kennedy also scored 15.
