In the final of the Mesa State tournament:

Mesa State 65, Concordia 42--Taryn Commins scored 13 points and Priscilla Bendik added 10 for Concordia (3-3), but the Eagles could not overcome a 36-22 halftime deficit.

Jamie White had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead Mesa State (5-0).

In nonconference women’s basketball:

Chapman 46, Bethel College 42 (Minn.)--Lyndsay Brown scored with 15 seconds left to give host Chapman a four-point lead and Bethel missed two three-pointers as Chapman held on.
