Savanna’s Rally Defeats Magnolia

Savanna scored 14 fourth-quarter points to defeat Magnolia, 28-21, in a Orange League game Friday night at Western High.
Juan Rodriguez clinched the victory for Savanna, blocking a punt and falling on the ball in the end zone for the winning touchdown late in the game.
Josh Cunningham tied the score, 21-21, for Savanna (5-2, 1-1), on a four-yard run. Cunningham also closed the gap to 21-14, scoring on a two-yard run in the third quarter.
Will Speer scored two touchdowns for Magnolia (4-3, 1-1).
