Palmdale 42, Quartz Hill 27--Marquis Murray rushed for 218 yards in 16 carries and scored two touchdowns for host Palmdale (4-3, 1-1).
Falcon quarterback Johnathan Thompson rushed 12 times for 128 yards, including touchdowns of 59 and 10 yards. He completed six of 13 passes for 82 yards and a touchdown, a 13-yard completion to Shane Johnson.
Palmdale had three touchdowns called back because of penalties and lost three fumbles, including one by Murray on the Quartz Hill one-yard line at the end of an 82-yard run.
Clinton Herbert scored three touchdowns for Quartz Hill (2-5, 0-2). He rushed for a two-yard touchdown, scored on an 84-yard pass play from Jeff Williams that pulled the Rebels to within 28-14 early in the fourth quarter, and returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown.
