Defensive end Gregg Guenther of Crespi is out for the season because of a stress fracture in his right foot.
Guenther, a 6-foot-7, 240-pound junior, aggravated the injury in the first half against Notre Dame on Friday night and did not play the second half.
“It doesn’t look good,” Crespi Coach Tim Lins said. “I can tell you it’s pretty good odds that he’s out.”
Guenther, who plays center on the Crespi basketball team, could be out until January, said his father, Gregg Sr.
