Tryouts for the Southern California Stealth, a girls’ fast-pitch club, are scheduled for Saturday at Valley College.

Tryouts for the Stealth’s 18-and-under Gold team are slated for noon-3 p.m. Tryouts for the 14- and 12-and-under teams will be held from 9 a.m.-noon.

Sports Shack, a club team, will hold tryouts for boys 14-18 on Sept. 17 at Crespi High at 7 p.m.

Pre-registration is being taken for the California Beach Festival beach tournament scheduled from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sept. 19-20 near the Ventura Pier.

Pre-registration deadline is Sept. 18, but players may sign up at the tournament on a space-available basis.
